Where is the clinic?

How do I book a piercing?
Call the clinic on 0208 367 1234 or visit the premises at 31 The Town, Enfield.
Do you use a needle or a gun?
Ear lobes are pierced using a specially designed gun, the nose using a specifically designed nose piercing system, and every other piercing using a hollow needle. All of Erdal Mehmet’s piercings are carried out freehand; most piercers use clamps.
Are you a licensed piercer?
G Mantella was one of the first licensed piercers in London and has been established since 1982. The nose piercing system introduced here has become the recommended standard by the local council.
How do I look after a new piercing?
Bathe the piercing twice daily with a salt water solution or a mild antiseptic solution until it has completely healed. Do not cover it, do not touch or turn the jewellery, and do not sleep on it. Wear clothing as loosely as possible for the initial 4 weeks.
How long before I can go swimming?
Do not go swimming or use a sauna for a minimum of two weeks following the piercing. Showering is preferable within this period.
What should I look for when choosing a piercer?
Visit the shop a few days before having your piercing and check the premises against twelve hygiene and safety questions — among them whether single use needles are used and discarded after each piercing, whether other instruments are kept in an autoclave until needed, and whether the piercer has a clear policy regarding age restrictions and parental consent.
Where can I buy gold earrings?
